I just completed the Picture Book Illustration Course online with Nina Rycroft of Aukland, New Zealand! I am working on my own story inspired by three little mouse charaters inspired by myplay and storytelling with my granddaughter. During my career as an educator, I was an elementary music specialist most of my career, but also spent 12 years teaching primary classroom, grades K, 1, and 2. I have read hundreds, if not thousands of picture books, and now am so excited to be working on one of my own. This is one of my first double page spreads introducing my main characters Morely, Lavender, and Pinkney.
