Paris...The City of Lights! Preparing for Paris and beyond was a delight in itself. Before every trip, I do lots of research, schedule out our days, and read map after map. Bus lines, metro, trains, museum maps are all part of the preparation that's part of the fun...even practice sketches of places or things that I haven't drawn or painted before. These are the first pages of a hardbound sketchbook in which I recorded our visit to Paris, Luxemberg, and a Viking River Cruise down the Moselle and Rhine Rivers. After Paris we visited both sides of those rivers in France and Germany, ending in Basel, Switzerland. I hope you are ready for a wonderful trip as I reminisce.
